Over at his blog a few days ago, Brad Meltzer hinted that the cover we had seen in the solicitations for Justice League of America #8 was not the true cover. It was to throw us off of who was revealed at the end of JLA #7 (highlight invisi-text to see the big reveal).

Trident turned out to be Val Armorr aka Karate Kid if you missed it.
